Genomics plc is the leading genome analysis company pioneering the use of polygenetic information in healthcare and beyond. We were founded in 2014 by four leading scientists at the University of Oxford, including Professor Sir Peter Donnelly (then Director of the Wellcome Centre for Human Genetics) and Professor Gil McVean (Director of Oxford’s Big Data Institute). Our vision is to use genomic insights to transform drug discovery and precision health.

By amassing and curating data from publicly available sources, we have developed the most powerful engine of its kind in the world linking genetic variants across the whole genome to changes in thousands of measurements and disease outcomes, together with our own breakthrough machine learning algorithms that use this data at scale to learn directly about human biology.

Now, we are embarking on our way to improve people’s lives by discovering precision medicines and by developing new tools to understand the propensity for diseases long before they develop allowing sufficient time for preventive measures. Director Clinical Marketing & Health System Partnerships

We are seeking a Director Clinical Marketing & Health System Partnerships for our newly formed Precision Health Division. Feeling comfortable in a fast-moving environment you combine a thorough understanding of the UK and US health care markets (esp Dx tests and tools) with strong commercial awareness. You are an excellent communicator with a track record of building professional networks. You will report directly to the General Manager Precision Health. The position is located in one of our offices: USA (Boston, MA), UK (Oxford or Cambridge).


●  Develop business plans for products in development, including pricing considerations.

●  Develop and execute strategy for market development and promotional efforts, aligned with the Precision Health strategy

● Define relevant markets, customers, stakeholders and KOLs for current and future products.

● Analyse market development, competitive situation, potential partners and customer requirements.

● Collaborate with Regulatory to assess regulatory pathways and define a markets access plan.

● Develop and refine pitch decks and other marketing and communication material.

● Build relationships to potential customers, stakeholders and KOLs.

●  Support ELT/GM PH in preparing for and leading sales and partnering negotiations.

●  Contribute to development and maintenance of product roadmap (prioritisation,



●  Substantial experience in relationship marketing roles in the US and/or the UK healthcare markets.

●  Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to bring complex matters to a point; experience with a variety of commercial partner; ability to listen to the customer

●  Good commercial acumen; experience in market and competitive analysis; good understanding of price setting and reimbursement in US/UK healthcare.

●  Be comfortable in a smaller, yet fast-growing organisation and the variety of responsibilities and tasks it entails; enthusiastic about shaping this role; able to work independently while contributing to a number of different teams

●  Strongly service oriented

●  5+ years of experience in a commercial setting

●  BS or a higher degree in a scientific, medical or economics discipline


● Knowledge of genetics, molecular technologies (genotyping, sequencing), its applications.
